Tyresse Leonard Jones, a security guard at JC Bermudez Doral Senior High School in Miami, Florida, has been arrested for allegedly soliciting sexual activity from a student under 18. The arrest was made by the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department. Jones allegedly began communicating with the student via Instagram and phone messages, leading to an escalated relationship when she declined to meet with him multiple times. He allegedly sent explicit sexual messages and offered money and personal grooming services in exchange for sexual activity. The district has begun termination proceedings and will ensure Jones cannot seek future employment with the school system.
