Audubon Zoo's carousel to reopen in August

The carousel was removed from the scene due to damage from Hurricane Ida. The new carousel is built and is slightly smaller than the previous endangered species carousel. Work is ongoing on the pavilion, which will protect the carousel from further damage. The old vehicle was auctioned off.
