Hofstra’s Preston Edmead heading to ACC to play for N.C. State

Hofstra freshman point guard Preston Edmead has announced he will play for North Carolina State in the ACC. The 19-year-old was a key player in Hofstra's successful bid to the NCAA, leading to a buzzer-beating victory over Towson and advancing the conference finals. He had previously considered returning to Hempstead Turnpike, but changed his plans after the season ended. His decision aligns with his main goal of reaching the NBA and representing Long Island.
