KLBK Chief Meteorologist Jacob Riley has updated the weather forecast for March 4, 2026 with a mostly cloudy night, partly cloudy day, and isolated P.M. severe storms possible across the region. Strong to severe storms are possible across portions of the region on Thursday afternoon through the early overnight hours, with damaging wind gusts as high as 75 MPH, large hail the size of limes (2.00″ in diameter), and isolated tornadoes possible. Temperatures will remain above average overnight, with lows expected to fall into the low 40s to low 50s. The weather will trend drier on Friday, with more showers possible on Saturday. High temperatures will reach the 70s and 80s, with temperatures expected to remain above the mid-60s to mid-70s each day next week. The next storm system is expected to move in as sustained winds will become breezier by mid-week, and Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 AM on Sunday.
