Former Mets fan favorite Wilmer Flores is seeking a new role in the baseball industry, despite receiving minor league offers and working out in Florida. Despite a 13-year career in the majors, Flores remains hopeful about receiving a big league deal with the upcoming Opening Day just weeks away. He has spent the last six seasons in San Francisco, hitting.249/321/.426 with 92 home runs during his tenure as a Giant. Despite being non-tendered by the Mets after the 2018 season, Flores remained hopeful about playing again.
