St. Mary's Gaels Punch Fifth Straight Ticket From Moraga To March Madness: Report

The Saint Mary's Gaels men's basketball team has reached the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament for the fifth consecutive year, reaching the No. 7 seed in the South Region and will play against the Texas A&M Aggies in the tournament. This marks a school-record fifth consecutive NCAA appearance for the Gaels. The Gaels finished their 27-5 season and won their fourth consecutive West Coast Conference regular season title. They join a small group of just 14 other programs that have reached five consecutive NCAA tournaments.
