Hundreds of DUI arrests were made over the Easter weekend, with over 500 vehicle crashes reported. Six of these crashes were reported to have been caused by impaired driving, and two of these were caused by it. The number of arrests was also increased from last year's total of 527. Thousands of citations were given out, including 3,230 for speeding, 335 for not wearing a seat belt, and 40 for not securing children in safety.
