The Las Vegas Strip Law Enforcement Torch Run was held on the same day as the previous year's event. The event was held in partnership with local law enforcement agencies and community sponsors. The run was a 2.5-mile journey that included athletes, law enforcement officers, and community members carrying the Special Olympics "Flame of Hope". The proceeds from the event will benefit Special Olympics Nevada's year-round sports training, education, athlete leadership and health programs.
