Gov. Pillen issues burn ban for Nebraska

The Nebraska Governor has issued a statewide burn ban to reduce the potential for additional wildfires in the state. The order will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on March 27. This follows a period of dry and windy conditions that have led to the spread of fires in the central and western parts of the country. The governor has also issued an emergency proclamation activating state resources to combat these fires.
