Runway reopens at LaGuardia Airport following removal of Air Canada flight wreckage

LaGuardia Airport's Runway 4/22 reopened after a fatal collision with an Air Canada jet, killing two pilots and injuring approximately 40 passengers. The airport was cleared for use by two large trucks and the repair of the damaged plane and its infrastructure. The National Transportation and Safety Board is continuing its investigation.
