The Milford Board has granted a special exception to a new indoor softball batting cage facility and a martial arts training facility. The 6,200-square-foot space will be used for team practices, private lessons and small clinics, with scheduling handled through an online reservation system. The board also approved a 4,600-square foot academy dedicated to youth programming. The proposal was met with support from the community, particularly for the structured nature of the facility. An affordable housing-related item was postponed at the request of the applicant.
