Alexa Rose Paccioretti, a 24-year-old finance worker from New York City, experienced a period of exhaustion and disassociation within her life. She quit Wall Street and moved to Italy, where she felt more aligned with her identity than her previous life. After reconnecting with someone planning to spend time in Italy, she found herself revisiting a long-held dream of living in Italy and learning Italian. Despite leaving behind more than just a job and leaving her family and two Scottish Fold cats in New Jersey, she navigated a new chapter of life.
