'Tireless Advocate' Named 58th Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal: 'Incredible Honor'

Allyson Scerri, founder of New Beginnings and Brendan House, has been named the 58th Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal. She lost both her parents to traumatic brain injuries at different times, and has devoted her life to helping others navigate the unfamiliar terrain. ScerRI recently opened new centers in Wading River at Little Flower, which had recently closed its adult residential programs on Long Island. She also expressed her pride at being named Grand Marshal in her hometown, where she grew up. The 17th Annual "One Love, One Heart" Golf & Gala fundraiser will be held on June 1 at the West Hampton Country Club.
