Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have reunited for the next Marvel Studios superhero ‘adventure, "Avengers: Doomsday". The first trailer was unveiled at the CinemaCon convention of theater owners and is expected to end the 2026 box-office year with a big hit. Evans, who played Steve Rogers in earlier Marvel films, said his return was unexpected. The Marvel team has generated nearly $33 billion at global box offices, the highest total for any film franchise.
