The NYPD and federal authorities have arrested Alexander Heifler, a man who planned to firebomb the home of Palestinian activist Nerdeen Kiswani, head of one of the city's most active pro-Palestinian protest groups. The arrest came after an NYPD undercover cop who learned of the plot befriended Heiflers and helped him build eight Molotov cocktails that he planned to use to target Kiswanani's home. Kiswan was informed about the plot and stated that pro-Israel organizations have encouraged violence against her and her family. Heiferer was federally charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful making of firearms.
