Early voting underway for Houston City Council special election

Early voting is underway for the special election for Houston's District C seat, which opened when District C Councilmember Abbie Kamin resigned to run for Harris County Attorney. The district, which covers much of Houston's core, has approximately 215,000 residents and is expected to go to a runoff. The winner will fill the empty seat.
