The family of Deshaune Jones, a 36-year-old man who was shot nine times in 2025, are frustrated and confused after learning that the federal agent who shot him won't be charged for his death will not face charges. Jones was shot in what the Drug Enforcement Agency called a "large-scale drug trafficking operation". His family members believe that witnesses and law enforcement stated Jones did not have a gun and was running away when the agent shot him.
