Apple's Playlist Playground beta has been criticized for its lack of music selection. The Verge's weekend editor, Michael Schurkov, found that Apple's AI Playground was underperforming, with only three songs selected for the test. He also found that the playlist could only serve up an instrumental black metal track by the band Woman is the Earth from South Dakota. However, he found that while six of the 16 songs added to the playlist were over 15 years old, three were over 25 years old. The biggest issue was the inclusion of an alphabetical list of women by Chicken P, which includes lines like "desiree, take dick, she beating "go deeper".
