Russia has supplied Iran with cyber support, spy imagery, and other materials to assist in its cyber attacks, according to a Ukrainian intelligence assessment. The assessment stated that Russian satellites made at least 24 surveys of areas in 11 Middle Eastern countries from March 21 to 31, covering 46 objects including U.S. and other military bases and critical sites. These surveys were targeted within days of being surveyed by Iranian ballistic missiles and drones. The Ukrainian assessment also noted that Russian and Iranian hacker groups were interacting via Telegram and noted collaboration between Russian groups "Pentestest(16)" and "DDoSia". The White House has stated that no external support for Iran is affecting the United States' operational success. The Russian foreign ministry did not respond to a request for comment.
