John Green, the bestselling author of "The Fault in Our Stars," has announced his first novel in almost 10 years, "Hollywood, Ending," which will also be his first for adults. Adapted from a story he read on "a series of semi-secret livestreams" during the pandemic and follows the rise of two young actors, Kai and Juniper, who are falling in love and struggle against celebrity and the private cost of a public life. The book will be published from Dutton Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, and is set to be released in 2026. Green has been working on this novel since finishing his 2017 book, "Turtles All the Way Down," which was his last fiction title.
