Miles McBride, the Knicks' backup guard and sixth man, has been performing well in the team's first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks, scoring 26 points and shooting almost 48% from 3-point range in the last two games. Despite being in pain, McBride has been playing well despite a recent core muscle surgery following a sports hernia. He has been a standout player in this series, contributing significantly to the Knicks’ outscoring of more than 21 points per game. McBride's net rating indicates that the team has a plus-29.5 net rating in the 63 minutes he and teammate Jalen Brunson shared on the court.
