Leaked audio reveals that Rebel Wilson's crisis public relations team planned to create websites falsely accusing Amanda Ghost, the producer of The Deb, of sex trafficking. The websites were allegedly part of an alleged smear campaign initiated by Wilson. Digital fixer Jed Wallace instructed top entertainment publicist Melissa Nathan to assert without evidence that Ghost is a "madame" whose work involves procuring young women for wealthy and powerful men. Wallace also mentioned the involvement of Hollywood power lawyer Bryan Freedman, Wilson's then-counsel, in the plan. The discovery of these communications can be traced back to the It Ends With Us legal saga and a breach of contract lawsuit from ex-Baldoni publicist Stephanie Jones against Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer. Wilson, Nathan and Wallace have both denied any involvement in the creation of the smear websites.
