The Orange City School District held a job fair for teachers in the district on March 5 at the Pepper Pike Learning Center. Paul Lucas, director of human resources, said the event was a success and resulted in 77 of 78 available slots filled. The only one not filled was due to a death in the family. Lucas said applicants could still apply for open positions by March 16. The job fair was coordinated with universities including Kent State, Cleveland State University, The Ohio State University and Youngstown State University. The board also accepted the retirement of Kimberly White and the resignations of teachers at Moreland Hills Elementary School and a bus driver and aide.
