The incident occurred in Delco's Springfield Township after a 911 caller reported two people burglarizing a home. The suspects fled in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Delaware license plate. The driver refused to stop and the vehicle crashed into a pole at City and Lancaster avenues. Both men were arrested and charged with burglary and other offenses. The incident led to a significant police presence at the scene.
