A federal judge has dismissed Blake Lively's high-profile sexual harassment and defamation lawsuit against director Justin Baldoni and his studio partners, just six weeks before a trial in Manhattan federal court. The lawsuit, originally filed in 2024, alleges that Lively was subjected to "disturbing" sexual harassment during the production of the domestic violence movie It Ends With Us and was targeted with a sophisticated online smear campaign after she spoke out. In a new 152-page ruling, Judge Lewis Liman dismissed 10 of Lively’s 13 causes of action, leaving only her claims for retaliation and breach of contract against the movie’s producers, The Agency Group PR. A trial in the case is set to begin May 18.
