Iran has released videos and other propaganda using U.S. history and the bigotry of some of our loudest voices, targeting Black Americans, women, and others. They are also using this history to drive a wedge between Blacks and Jews. Researchers have already coordinated Iranian-linked social media networks pushing anti-American and anti-Israel narratives designed to exploit divisions in the U.K. However, some voices on the far left and far right are supporting anti-Israeli and antisemitic sentiment, which mirrors Iran's propaganda lines. The author points out that both sides are contributing to the division within the country and that this divide is creating a more dangerous situation.
