Blue Origin, the space launch company founded by Jeff Bezos, launched the Bluebird 7 mobile phone satellite into space on Sunday (April 19), but the payload ended up in the wrong orbit. The New Glenn rocket lifted off from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida and the successful recovery of its first reused orbital-class rocket, "Never Tell Me The Odds," took place shortly after the launch. The satellite was intended to join the largest communications array ever deployed in the world to expand the network's ability to provide space-based cellular broadband to consumers. The company acknowledged the issue on social media.
