Iran's state media has released a video of masked commandos boarding two cargo ships held by Iran's Revolutionary Guard in the Strait of Hormuz. The Philippine government confirmed that 15 seafarers were on the vessels, but were "safe and unharmed". This is the first confirmation from a non-Iranian entity that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard forces had seized the ships. Israel and Lebanon are set to begin a second round of peace talks, with the Israeli military and Iranian-backed Hezbollah accusing each other of breaching their fragile ceasefire. The U.K. military's Maritime Trade Operations Center reported incidents involving three cargo ships in the contested waterway, while the IRGC claimed to have seized two of them. The Israeli army and Iran-backed militia Hezbollah have accused each another of breaching the truce almost since it began. The Lebanese national news agency reported that Israeli strikes have killed two people, adding to the more than 2,000 killed by Israel since early March. The Pentagon announced that Navy Secretary John Phelan is leaving his role effective immediately.
