Iran has been hit hard by an Israeli and U.S. strike on a police station in Tehran, Iran, amid the ongoing U.K.-Israeli conflict, without signs of protests. The strikes have left residents of Tehran feeling terrorised, with electricity and water cuts increasing their fears. Two Iranian men arriving in Turkey from Iran through a border gate described scenes of tension and fear in the capital. They also saw widespread destruction of civilian structures and buildings. The death toll from the attacks has reached 787 and Iran responded with a series of drone and missile attacks on countries around the region, striking at both military and civilian targets in Israel, Jordan, and Gulf monarchies. Despite the death of Iran's supreme leader, there has been no return to nationwide protests since January.
