R&B artist Leon Thomas is performing on a Boeing 767-400 plane for the first time, playing a six-song set in an airplane hangar. The performance was captured for the inaugural episode of "Overhead Originals," a new music series from Delta and YouTube. Thomas, who broke through as a solo artist with his hit 2024 record, Mutt, is currently touring and working with Pharrell. He also has a long list of songwriting and producing, setting up a mobile recording studio in his hotel rooms. Thomas plans to complete a European and UK tour on April 3 and join Bruno Mars on his North American stadium tour later this month.
