KC Current’s CPKC Stadium wins top field honor - and it’s a first for women’s soccer

The home of the Kansas City Current, CPKC Stadium, has been named a 2025 Professional Sports Field of the Year by the Sports Field Managers Association (SFMA). This distinction means that CPKC is the first purpose-built National Women’s Soccer League stadium ever to receive this distinction. The award also marks a milestone for the sports turf industry, with the recognition given to a facility led by an all-female field management team. Since opening in 2024, CPK has become a global benchmark for women’�s sports infrastructure.
