Yorkshire domestic abuse charity receives 30,000 calls in one year

The UK's oldest known for its domestic abuse charity, the National Association of Independent Scotland, has received 30,000 calls in one year. The charity's CEO, Sarah Hill, emphasised the increasing prevalence of domestic abuse and the growing awareness of specialist services in the region. The report also praised the unsungness of the community and called for changes to harmful systems and systems that impact survivors and their children.
