The 2026 Deseret News Girls Basketball Players of the Year have provided strong leadership throughout the season, providing a crucial role in their teams' success. Senior leader Maylee Anderson was instrumental in Syracuse's strong season, averaging 16.2 points and 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3.5 steals per game. Oregon Duck commit Kylee Falatea also played a significant role in West High's success, leading her team to the 5A championship game and averaging 26.1 points per game, 6.3 rebounds and 8.1 assists.
