Ex-Apple engineers create an AI button – but can't explain why

Former Apple engineers Chris Nolet and Ryan Burgoyne have created an AI button, which resembles an iPod shuffle. The button does address the privacy issue created by competitors but no one has explained why it isn't an app. The pair argue that using AI on your PC and on your phone is better on the Button, and that it would be preferable if smartphones didn't exist. Noisle also discusses the creation of a VPN with no logs and independent audits to verify its authenticity.
