South Florida businessman facing charges for allegedly taking money from customers, but not delivering what they ordered

South Florida businessman, Anwar Farrell, has been charged with seven felony grand theft charges for allegedly taking orders for thousands of dollars but not delivering the product. Five customers reported they sent Farrell money totalling more than $338,000. Farrell, listed as the company president on Sunbiz, is out on bond and has pleaded not guilty. A New York man has filed a civil lawsuit against Farrell for not repaying a loan made to the company. The judge ruled in favor of the judge and ordered Farrell and the foundation to pay over $250,000 to the man.
