Hot Sunday in Portland may break temperature records

A heat advisory is in effect for the Portland area, with temperatures expected to reach around 90 degrees, which could break the record high set in 1992. A weather alert day is in place for the day due to the heat. The weather will also be monitored by a ridge of high pressure over the Pacific Northwest, with no rain expected for the next few days.
