Southern Arizona agencies using AI cameras for firefighting

Pano AI, a company that uses AI-powered tower cameras that operate 24/7 for early wildfire detection, has been used by fire departments and districts in southern Arizona as a tool for rapid response. The company uses these cameras to detect smoke and alert fire agencies, which can then alert them. The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management will be using the technology, along with the U.S. Forest Service also confirmed the Coronado National Forest uses the technology. The technology is available to any agency that needs it, and can also be used to monitor fires. This technology is crucial as we get closer to wildfire season, which experts predict could be very active this year.
