Jennifer L. Lieber, a 47-year-old woman from the Twin Cities, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the second-degree murder of her romantic partner, David J. Nanovic. With credit for time in jail after her arrest, Lieber is expected to serve the first 16-to-12 years of prison and the remainder on supervised release. The shooting occurred at the home of Lieber and Nanovic, who had been living with them since 2000.
