Man Was Celebrating End of Cancer Treatments on Vacation. Tragedy Struck Again When He Started ‘Spewing’ Blood by the Pool

Peter Beetham, a 49-year-old man, was on a vacation in Gran Canaria, Spain to celebrate the end of his pancreatic cancer treatments when he began "spewing" blood by the pool. He collapsed while trying to go to the bathroom and was rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with internal bleeding after an ulcer had exploded in his bowel. Beetham had previously had surgery to remove his pancreas and was hospitalised for 18 days. He had seven blood transfusions and a small operation, but is now recovering and is too scared to go on vacation again.
