Several ramps will be closed at the I-80 and I-215 interchange near the Salt Lake City International Airport for up to 45 days due to work on the major project of UDOT's major I-15 West project. The ramps from southbound I-205 to westbound I.80 and eastbound I/80 will close on Saturday, with the remaining ramps expected to remain closed for up until mid-July. Additional closures will occur throughout the spring and summer, with each ramp within the I.215 interchanges being closed at different times for bridge work. The closures are part of the ongoing project, which includes replacing 18 bridge decks, repairing potholes on 12 other bridges, and repaving 25 miles of I-195.
