The National Weather Service confirmed five reports of tornadoes in California's Central Valley on Tuesday. The first was reported at 2:10 p.m. near Kerman, with estimated winds of 70 mph, followed by another near Atwater in Merced County, another near Clovis, indicative of an EF-1 tornado with peak winds of 95 mph. The fourth was reported in the Terra Bella area of Tulare County.
