The St. Louis Cardinals have agreed to a two-year contract extension with manager Oliver Marmol ahead of the 2026 MLB season. The extension includes a club option for the 2029 season. Despite the team's three consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance, the Cardinals still believe in Marmol.
