Yorkville School District 115, a local school district, appears to have rejected a $275 million bond issue for new school facilities. The proposal was intended to raise funds for two new school buildings and a significant addition to the district’s high school building. With all precincts in Kendall County reporting, only 32.47% of Kendall County voters were in favor and 67.53% against the bond issue. The district had planned to start construction this fall and start classes in 2028. However, the district's future plans remain uncertain.
