Maya Hawke is set to star in Netflix's new drama series, The God of the Woods, based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Liz Moore. The series is set in the Adirondacks and will explore the Van Laar family's secrets, class tensions, and the disappearance of 13-year-old Barbara Van Laer. Hawke will play Judy Luptack, the first female investigator in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, who is assigned to investigate the disappearance. Other exec producers on The God Of The Woods include Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty for Original Film.
