The Indianapolis real estate market returned to its seasonal norms in February, with interest rates reaching their lowest levels since 2022. Interest rates decreased to below 6% for the first time in three years, leading to increased buyer activity in the second half of the month. Despite this surge in demand, many sellers waited until spring weather to list their properties. Despite these challenges, median sales prices remained stable and no significant increase from January. Realtor Dan Brown attributed this stability to early buyers who negotiated aggressively. He expects prices to rise as demand continues to grow.
