Almost half of German Jewish communities report anti-Semitic incidents

A report by the Central Council of Jews has revealed that nearly every second Jewish community in Germany has reported anti-Semitic incidents, such as insults, hate speech, threats or vandalism. The survey also revealed that 46 out of 102 communities reported such incidents in the previous year. The war between Israel and the United States against Iran has made the situation worse for Jewish communities, according to 62% of those surveyed. The head of the Jewish Council of Germany, Josef Schuster, said the results indicated a "new normal" of serious security concerns for Jews in Germany.
