Eastern Idaho residents are encouraged to clean out their medicine cabinets for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, taking place on Saturday, April 25th. The event, organised by Eastern Idaho Public Health in partnership with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and local law enforcement agencies, aims to provide a safe way for people to dispose of unused or expired medications. The drop-off site will be held at the College of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls and additional collection sites across the region. Officials will accept prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and even veterinary medications.
