Police are searching for a driver who hit and fled a 14-year-old boy who left him injured in Mandeville, Louisiana, on April 10. The boy was riding a bicycle near the Taco Bell on Lafitte Street when the driver ran over his arm and sped off without checking on him. The teen has been diagnosed with a greenstick fracture, a bone in his arm that bent but didn't fully break, and likely caused an artery to be punctured. The incident has left the boy with a broken arm and forced him to put his arm in a sling and take a break from playing guitar. Mandeastern Police Chief Todd Schliem expressed concern over the incident and pledged to do "everything possible" to find the driver.
