Tobias Malone, accused of murdering a mother and her 14-year-old daughter, Vienna Peoples, and one of their children in June, appeared in court on new charges related to child rape and child pornography. Malone, who was originally charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence, entered not guilty pleas to the charges. The charges stem from the deaths of Vienna Peoples and her daughter, LaBria Miller, 14. Malone was indicted last week on two counts of murder (domestic violence), sexual abuse of a child younger than 12, rape of a children younger than twelve, promoting a sexual performance by a child under 16, and possessing child sexual abuse material involving a child. A public defender will be appointed to represent Malone. The judge has ordered no contact orders to remain in place and will return to court in October.
