Strong winds swept through the Lehigh Valley, causing downed trees, fallen power lines, and damage to homes across the region. Some roads were blocked off by the storm, causing commuters to struggle with getting to work. The storm also caused significant damage to the home of Kiara Mendoza, who had a 20-foot-tall pine tree fall next to her home. Despite the damage, Mendeza believes that any damage can be replaced. The power is still out and road closures are still closed as crews work to repair the damages.
